However, most models in our range will be ordered especially for you, allowing you to alter the suggested floor plans to your specific design ideas and layouts.
We LOVE custom designs - as a matter of fact nearly ALL residential log cabin designs are named after their owners / designers!
Once we have worked out the overseas manufacturing costs of your solid timber log cabin there are also the freight costs for YOUR solid timber log cabin from the Baltic States. These vary greatly as there are many factors influencing what you end up paying for getting your cabin into Australia such as:
1) Currency Exchange Rate - Euro (freight from factory to harbor and overseas customs charges)
2) Currency Exchange Rate - US Dollars (international sea shipping charges)
3) Local Customs Charges - unloading, handling, transfers etc
4) Timber Pest Treatment - AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Service) has introduced new additional mandatory conditions regarding the treatment of all raw timber products as of 10th of December 2019
Thankfully all of the costs above are easily negated by the relatively low costs of your cabin, resulting in an overall VERY attractive pricing when compared to the traditional "stick-and-brick" house construction method.
Once your shipment has arrived it is than just a matter of transporting your cabin to your site, the costs for this will again vary greatly as these depend on your location, whether or not we were able to combine your shipment with other log buildings etc.
